Better Breather's Club Takes First Breath on the
Palouse The Better Breather's Club of the Palouse meets the third Tuesday of the month from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Pullman Regional Hospital Summit Court Conference Room on Bishop Blvd. in Pullman. The club welcomes those affected by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease other wise known as COPD, asthma and chronic bronchitis. Guest speakers will be brought in to discuss topics related to respiratory health such as home oxygen, medication, physical therapy, nutrition and home therapies. Following the speaker's presentation, the club will have social time including BINGO games and prizes. The club is modeled after several successful nationwide clubs set up and sponsored by the American Lung Association and is provided as a service of Pullman Regional Hospital's Respiratory Therapy department.
